Spout Springs has been a family-owned and operated facility for 50 years.  It has a long history connected to the Blue Mountains of Northeastern Oregon.

Spout Springs Ski Area in Union County, Oregon, is located on the Walla Walla Ranger District of the Umatilla National Forest. 

It is operated under a special use permit issued by the USDA Forest Service to Spout Springs Ski Area.  Spout Springs is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Pendleton and 50 miles north of LaGrande, Oregon.  It is 50 miles southeast of Walla Walla and 100 miles east of the Tri-Cities, Washington.

Spout Springs Ski Area is located in the Blue Mountains of Oregon near Milepost 22 on State Highway 204 (paved).  The ski area covers approximately 1,411 acres with a base elevation of 4,850 feet and a top elevation of 5,500 feet for a lift-served vertical rise of 650 feet.

The existing ski area special use permit covers approximately 1,411 acres within Management Areas A3, A5 and A6 of the Umatilla Forest.   

There are 2 double lifts that serve 256 skiable acres, 650+ feet of vertical, and night skiing on Friday and Saturday.  The lodge boasts a fully equipped restaurant and lounge, a complete rental inventory including down hill, cross country and snowboarding. 3,500 square feet owner’s unit.

Spout Springs fills a special marketplace niche.  The resort’s great snow conditions and accessibility are the hallmark traits of Spout Springs.  The resort takes pride in being affordable to a public.

This is a Turn Key operation. Owner is ready to retire and is open to all offers. The owner is willing to train the new owner on the operation of the facility.
